How Sanity powers fast, flexible, API-first storefronts
We wanted to craft a pratical example of the best in class e-commerce experience paired with Sanity and Shopify. We choose to leverage Hydrogen, a Shopify-first framework for building out a bespoke headless experience.
We leveraged existing starters and guides to quickly build a headless storefront that suited our exact needs, elevated our product offering and allowed us to tap into the endless possibilities of API-first e-commerce experiences. We wanted to both offer products to our fans as well as help new users browse/learn about the ease of building beautiful experiences and unravel the stigma that going headless(api-based) is reserved for enterprise clients.

We built this experience using readily available tooling in the Sanity & Hydrogen ecosystem. If you're interested in learning more about how we built this, we actually just recorded a webinar where we break down some of the key concepts. We've also released a number of functions and guides for some of the experiences powering this storefront. We'll be releasing this as a public repo soon, Kevin just has to clean up some of the mess he made while testing the App SDK and new Functions.
